GEMS OF ENCOURAGEMENT FOR SATURDAY FEBRUARY 1, 2014

PROVERB:

Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid. Proverbs 12:1

PROMISE:

And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons: My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those He loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as son. Endure hardship as discipline: God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? If you are not disciplined, and everyone undergoes discipline, than you are illegitimate children and not true sons. Hebrews 12:5-7.

PRAISE:

Praise our God, O peoples, let the sound of His praise be heard; He has preserved our lives and kept our feet from slipping. For You, O God tested us; You refined us like silver. Psalm 66:8-10.
