GEMS OF ENCOURAGEMENT FOR SATURDAY JANUARY 5, 2013
PROVERB:
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. Proverbs 1:7.
PROMISE:
Since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the Lord, since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke, they will eat the fruit of their schemes. For the waywardness of the simple will kill them; and the complacency of fools will destroy them; but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm. Proverbs 1:29-33.
PRAISE:
Sing to the Lord all the earth, proclaim His salvation day after day. Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples. For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; He is to be feared above all Gods. I Chronicles 16:23-25.
